In November 2009, Rob and I met through E-Harmony. So, if people tell you online dating doesn’t work, don’t believe them! We are a success story. I was tired of guys who weren’t interested in long term relationships, and I decided to give it a try. Rob had been on E-Harmony before, and thank goodness he kept trying! Over Thanksgiving Day 2009, we sent messages back and forth, and decided to meet for lunch! Before I met him, I remember praying “God – please let this be my last first-date”. And it was!
After our first meeting, I wasn’t sure if I would hear from him again. But, I did! He asked me if I wanted to meet for lunch the next day! After that, he invited me to the house in Granby, and the rest, as they say, is history!
On February 11, 2011, Rob asked me to marry him!
He took me out to dinner, and proposed as we were leaving the restaurant! We decided to plan a September 4, 2011 wedding in Alaska.

Dreams really can come true. God had my perfect match picked out, I just had to wait for the perfect time. I am so glad Rob was willing to wait for me!
